Description The Senior Health System Specialist serves as a subject matter expert in healthcare system operations, policy implementation, and process optimization supporting TRICARE & the Defense Health Agency. This position involves analyzing, evaluating, and improving healthcare delivery systems, coordinating program initiatives, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, policies, and performance standards. The Senior Health System Specialist plays a critical role in facilitating interdepartmental collaboration, process enhancements, and quality improvement strategies to advance patient care and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Healthcare Program Analysis and Policy Implementation: Conducts evaluations of healthcare programs, interprets federal regulations, and assists in policy development. Quality Improvement and Performance Monitoring: Implements quality assurance programs, conducts audits, and develops corrective actions. Program Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: Acts as liaison, coordinates initiatives, and develops training materials. Data Management and Reporting: Oversees data analysis, reporting, and ensures data security and compliance. Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field; Master’s preferred. 8-10 years of relevant experience. Experience in healthcare administration, policy analysis, or program management. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., CMS, DHA, TRICARE). Ability to analyze complex healthcare systems and develop solutions. Proficient in healthcare data analysis, reporting, and project management. Work Schedule Full-time, Monday – Friday, with flexibility for alternative schedules with approval. Physical Demands & Work Environment Primarily computer-based work in a remote setting with reliable internet.
