Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented PART-TIME ON-SITE Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Opelika, Alabama. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, managing orders, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment. Responsibilities: - Handle inbound and outbound calls to address customer inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues with attention to detail. - Process and manage order entries accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are recorded correctly. - Schedule and confirm appointments while coordinating with internal teams as needed. - Respond to customer emails promptly, providing clear and concise information. - Maintain and update customer records using Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools. - Assist with data entry tasks to support various customer service operations. - Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer experiences. - Utilize Microsoft Word to prepare documents and correspondence as required. Requirements - Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a wholesale distribution setting. - Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with a customer-focused approach. - Strong skills in data entry and record management with attention to detail. - Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for daily tasks. - Ability to manage email correspondence effectively and professionally. - Experience in scheduling and coordinating appointments. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
