Summary

Classroom Management: Establish a safe, positive, and structured learning environment that supports all areas of child development.
Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons aligned with state standards and tailored to individual learning needs.
Assessment: Monitor student progress using observations and assessments; maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child's success; attend meetings and ongoing professional development.
Classroom Environment: Keep the classroom clean, organized, and well-equipped with age-appropriate materials; follow all safety protocols.
Behavioral Support: Foster social-emotional skills and address behavioral challenges positively and effectively.
Professional Conduct: Stay current with early childhood education practices, uphold ethical standards, and mentor support staff as needed. ?

Duties

?- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior
- Educate children on basic skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Create a structured classroom setting that fosters learning and creativity
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching in a pre-kindergarten or early childhood setting (required).
• Experience developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula (required).
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an educational setting (preferred).
